The Reign of Dudley having arrived, it made sense this week to feature The Reign of Kindo.  But there are always surprises.  And sometimes, there are voicemails involving some of the thousands of highly paid actors aboard the ship...er, Ark.  Chaos ensues.

Noah's Band of the Week - The Reign of Kindo, an indie and pop band from Buffalo, just back from a grueling tour of 55 dates all across the US of A.  Bassist and backup vocalist Jeff Jarvis joins the show to discuss the complexities of touring and life.

Crazy Band from Crazy Towns - Elma, NY is the home to so many great bands we had to stop by for a second week.  We are treated to some live Dave Constantino Band, along with Marti Monti and Done Deal.  All in all, Elma was a great stop...except that we did learn a frightening version of the town and village's past...from the authority Mr. History.

The Stapp Infection - Michael Jackson is off scamming sheiks out of millions of dollars.  We invite MJ aboard to explain himself.

So, there was this idea to do a split show with Josh Smith, host of "The Way Up" on thinktwiceradio.com, a while back.  Unfortunately we determined that it would be too difficult to transport our thousands of writers and technicians to a remote studio without more planning.  So to open the show, Josh Smith calls Noah and Thumb, apparently in denial about the refusal to do his show.  He wasn't too happy and ended up irate when he discovered we have some special new hot keys.

Noah's Band of the Week - Controlin Death.  This band has inspired, horrified and shocked us ever since we ventured to the crazy town Hilton. (Note: The Noah's Ark Program does not endorse or share any of the views expressed by this band.  In fact we probably should've listened to it all the way through before playing it.)

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - In Elma, NY, there are strange goblins of all sorts, from Elvis impersonators to polka to straight up rock.  We sample a few of them and vow to return for more next week.

The Stapp Infection - A tour of love emerges again, death is flushed, people are sued.  All in all it itches.  And it burns.  And the Creed reunion rumors are getting loud.

This weeks Metal Inquisition clearly had an agenda, crushing false idols to acheive inner peace. In other words, I ripped MTV a new one for the embarassment that was the 20th Anniversary Edition of Headbangers Ball...and I played some of WNY's finest while I was doing it! 18 Tracks of Metally Goodness to sooth the shattered soul, a Head2Head Battle between Claymore and Flood The Attic, whose more Crossover? Be sure to voice your opinions! We also proudly premier "Bridging The Gap", a new concept for the show, as well as opening a casket for a lost Demo track...

If Led Zeppelin goes on tour without Robert Plant, a chain of events will be unleashed that will inevitably result in the end of the world as we know it, aka, a Creed reunion.  Ladies and gents, if this comes to pass, all that is right in the world becomes wrong, black becomes white, Amy Winehouse goes to rehab, and then the Jackson 5 follow suit and go on tour.  We are very, very afraid.

Noah's Band of the Week - Mother Red, a rockin psychedelic band with marshy swampy guitars and thick and heavy vocals dominating there unique and varied sound.  Download their album at stampederecords.us, if you are so inclined.

Crazy Band from Crazy Towns - We travel this week to the lovely and palatial, although sinister, Hamburg, NY.  Is Hamburg named after a revolution of cannibals grinding their neighbors into delicious tasty bits?  Maybe.  Mr. History climbs aboard to explain, and we sample several bands from the crazy town.  Matt Gernold is also pranked via voicemail.

The Stapp Infection - Deaths and destruction, a sad but consistent week of the Infection.  On the slow weeks where bunches of people die, we usually check in with a Hall of Famer.  To our horror, the legendary MJ is in the headlines, another signal the end times are upon us, as mentioned above.

Also this week, Jerry Falwell gives us the weather, Sling Blade Carl is back with a B-movie review, Buddy Nuggs observes the multiverse, in addition to steaming mounds of chaos that we deliver each week on the All WNY Radio podcast network.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Fulton, NY, home to some great bands and the Fulton Knifeworks, which Mr. History was very excited to illuminate for us the years and years of testing that took place there...on the immigrants...and their innards...in the cycle of pain.

Noah's Band of the Week - Auld Lang Syne, a folk rock ensemble from the Oswego area.  We are joined by front man and founding member Tim Dick, who gives us the roots of the powerful stage show and building driving songs, along with some inevitable inappropriate questions.  Obvious?  Yes.  But tasty nonetheless.  We enjoy some great tunes of this eclectic and varied sound.

All aboard! The Ark is set to sail ...

Here's a "lost" episode of Metal Inquisition ... January 31, 2008.

On these cold dark days of Winter, the warm months of June, July, August, and Sept. may seem to be further away than you could possibly reach. That's why it's so important to think about them now.

And we've got something for you to look forward to.

If you've been a friend of All WNY Radio for a while, you probably know about our Summer House Parties. Maybe you've been to one. Maybe you've heard stories. Maybe you've seen pictures. They really do live up to the hype.

And the reason they live up to the hype is becuase All WNY Radio, with a shitload of help from our friends Thieves Guild Productions, puts a lot of planning and effort into these parties. We get three or four bands. Put 'em on stage. Surround 'em with fans. Add alcohol, mix and serve ... It's the stuff legends are made of.

For 2008, we'll be starting in June. June 1st to be exact. We'll also have parties on July 6th, August 3rd, and September 7th.

Previous artists to grace the stage at All WNY Radio's outdoor "studio" in Lockport have included: The Gravity Thieves, Dark Morning, Amnesty Box, Fun Button, Lower Town Trio, ThinkSoBrain, Bob Z, Last of the Lost, HeadFake, A2J, Dopey Joe, Beggars Best, Seizure 17, Swingin' Diamonds, Serenity Falls, Fresh Guac, Addictive Tragedy and the Magic Tonez. Plus we've had comedians, karaoke, and more.

We thought we'd start the hunt NOW for bands for House Parties Nine (IX) through Twelve (XII).

Want to play? Hit us up. We'll throw in a couple of our faves from previous years, and lots of new bands, too. We're looking for somewhere between 12 and 16 bands for the summer. ALL GENRES. Rock, Country, Hip Hop. Jazz. You name it.

The pay sucks (get paid in food and drink) but we can almost gaurantee a good time ... And for your fans, there's no cover ... and we won't soak 'em on the prices of food and drink. Plus, we broadcast the whole thing on the Internet, so your friends from Kansas (or wherever) can finally hear you play a live show.

We want to get the whole season booked by April ... so don't delay. Hit us up and we'll see if you're right for All WNY Radio's House Parties ...

Thumb does an extra long show this week. Rock on Thumb.

Noah and Thumb get started late due to sound card issues. But once they got rolling, it was good. Paradyme was in studio ... as was The Voice of God and Dan Cooper.

It's the first floating of the Ark for 2008 ... the last week in Horse Heads and there's lots of in-studio guests. Enjoy.

The boys spend a second week in Horseheads. They have some broadcasting issues, do a super-speedy Stapp Award, and VOG complains about a band from Lockport.

Noah and Thumb and the crew of the Ark went to Nunda, where they checked out the music scene. A band named SMACKDAB was the band of the week (they're from Jamestown). Lots of happy banter thanks to Noah's overwhelming wine consumption. Plus Thumb and the Voice of God relentlessly mock Noah for his 'stache.
