Noah's Band of the Week - Seen It All, a rock, post punk, and ska flavored group from the Buffalo area.  A.R. Holland, J - Mac, and Jonny 5 join the show to enlighten us on their musical leanings and goals.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Allegany, NY, home to a gigantic controversy about the origin of their name, as well as Living My Last Day, Pollution, and Ray and Holly, who join the show, among others.

The WOW Minute is distracted this week, but still confusing, while the stapp is extra Jackson itchy, and the painful awkwardness of an off guard interview sets in toward the end of the show.

It's a very special episode of Noah's Ark this week, as we are joined in studio by Ball Cheez Psychotics, our featured band this week.  Ball Cheez went on after the interview to the Evening Star, where they rocked the house for the Rage on the Stage and won the semi-final round.

Noah's Band of the Week - If Paige Wins, an ambient but powerful rock band based in Buffalo, NY, and one of the competitors at Rage on the Stage.  We talk with Lauren and Michelle about their origins and evolution.  And being naked.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Elmira, formerly Newtown, as Mr. History explains in gory puss detail.  We sample A Rebours, Skoober, and T-RE, along with Filth Chamber, from which we are joined by drummer Nick Rich, and finally Mario "Jig" Williams, who also joins the show to discuss the scene and his history.

This is guaranteed to be the most out of hand, terminally insane episode of Noah's Ark ever.  For starters, Noah melts down 7 or 8 times for no good reason, making little if any sense throughout the show as he rants about unseen demons and tramples all in his path.  No one is spared the wrath, eventually resulting in Noah and Thumb trading punches to the face and AK 47 shots.  Brutal.

We think the Swine Flu has cleared out of DrastiClone Studios...at least for the most part.  So we venture on to a life changing band from Riverside, a town built on a skin covered lighthouse, and much more.

Noah's Band of the Week - TOWPATH, an insane metal, punk and death metal band based in, you guessed it, Buffalo, NY's Riverside.  The music is a hardcore beast of burden, hunting you in the night.

The Stapp Infection - Now that Scott Stapp and Creed are heading out on tour, the world is pretty much ending.  The end is nigh.  Lawsuits, divorces, death and destruction, along with the usual burning sensation.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Sodus, NY, home to the famous lighthouse and people still shaken from the dreadful and tragic British Invasion of 1813.  We sample Divergence of the Sky, Techno Kittie, Jesus Christ and the Boom Boom Galactic 5 and more!

It's the Swine Flu show, as DrastiClone Studios is infected with the likes of Red Lemon and Rob Livid, from Livid Lemon, and they are sick indeed.  We do our best to cover this emerging epic pandemic in our own sick way.

Noah's Band of the Week - The Instruments Band, a gentle acoustic folky band based in Canandaigua, NY.  We talk to Ben Morey from the band about life, liberty, and the pursuit of Swine Flu.

Here in WNY the thaw has begun, the animals are restless, and so on the heavy tide the Ark is sailing strong out on the open water.  This week Thumb and Noah singlehandedly disarm nuclear weapons and battle raging hordes of animals throughout the show.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Spencerport, NY, home to many fine artists but first among them is Johnny Bauer, who joins the show to tell us about his early years in an Elvis costume up through his present day incarnation playing guitar and singing some sweet tunes.

Sling Blade Carl delivers his weekly Movie Review, Walken steps in to replace Falwell with the Weather Report (hopefully permanently), and Santiago even rears his ugly head this week on the show.

This week it's a stripped down show with no Mr. History, Crow's Nest, or live band interview.  But what you do get is some really great rockin tunes from Ithaca, NY, a fine tribute to close out our epic visit to the finest and craziest of the many crazy towns we've visited.

As part of our commitment to excellence here at DrastiClone Studios, we took last week off to upgrade some equipment and hardwire it to the keel.  With that in mind, we hope the show will have a commensurate increase in quality with our band of the week and 7,000th return trip to wonderful and palatial Ithaca, NY.  Oh yeah!

Noah's Band of the Week - Maiden China, a killer grunge band from the Olean area originally.  Now separated by educational endeavors, the gentlemen of Maiden China hope to regroup this summer.  Dylan, drummer for the band, joins the show to talk about their direction as well as his own stylistic musical procession.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Ithaca???  It never ends, there is just so much good music in Ithaca.  We sample evil city trio, kimonophobic, Dead Canaries, Travis Knapp, and many more.  Always worth a listen, the Ithaca samplers are regularly excellent.

We open the show with a band called Whale, check 'em out.  Thumb delivers the Warcraft Minute, Falwell purges the Weather Report, Alaska Joe has breaking news on the volcano erupting in his back yard, and much much much much more falls up this week on the show!

A camouflaged woodsman covered in blood wrestles with a gigantic enraged bear.  At least that's what we picture when we think of our band of the week.  We intro this week with a very special Name That Movie, an Obama song, and a scandalous BBC reporter caught out of breath.  More?   Well...you decide.

Noah's Band of the Week - BEARHUNTER, part indie, rock and blues, with a diverse and engaging sound.  Bassist Robert Pusateri joins the show to discuss the blood covered warrior in the forest, and a few other things.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Mr. History delivers the fifth and final chapter of his epic history of Ithaca, while we check out 6 more varied yet impressive bands as usual.

The Stapp Infection forces us to deal with celebrity resolutions, Jerry Falwell gives us the weather, Thumb delivers the Warcraft Minute and much much hoo boy whoa nelly so much more!!

 

This is not only an amazingly epic show, but also an affirmation of why we so enjoy featuring local music here at All WNY Radio.com.  A stellar band of the week along with numerous great special guest visits makes it a well rounded Ark episode for the ages, even if it is sometimes a game show experience playing with the phone.  You'll see.

Noah's Band of the Week - Stemm!  Local hard rock/metal gods, who are crafting an amazing career for themselves and proving to be a fine example of what makes the scene so great.  They've toured nationally, become the soundtrack of the UFC, and played with bands like Damageplan, RUN-DMC, Godsmack and Slipnot, but always return to Buffalo to rock the hardest.  We get to heart of their success with Alex and Steve from the band in an amazing extended interview.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - We return again to Ithaca with another batch of groovin' bands with Pat Burke, The Neighbours, D.A.M.A.G.E., and more.  Mr. History lectures us further on the battle for Ithaca's soul.

The Stapp Infection - Short and sweet.  Have the celebretards finally cleaned up their act?

Special guest the Voice of God returns to our humble studio to decide which deities we can worship in the epic battle of God vs. Dudley.  Alaska Joe comes on for redemption and stays for relief, along with Pat Burke of Ithaca who joins the show in a surprise call and sheds some very interesting insight into why the Ithaca scene is so plentiful. 

We pile it on with Jerry Falwell, Thumb's WOW Minute, Buddy Nuggs, and Sling Blade Carl's Movie Review.  All in all, it's a little bit of everything this week, just how we like it.

It's a new year, and here at DrastiClone Studios we decided to ring it in with an ol' timey show.  Along those lines, we open the show with The Dusty Buskers playing a song that was probably hilarious in 1847.  Our past-fest continues with our band of the week and a very special version of Name That Movie.

Noah's Band of the Week - The Varnish Cooks, who unfortunately are no longer actually together.  However, Greg Fair and Greg Paul have continued on with a new project, Dark Holler Duo.  Greg Fair joins the show to discuss the nature of American traditional music, the roots of society, and the musical progression that has led to the current incarnation.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - It's another week in Ithaca and the third installment of area bands.  There's a little bit of everything this week with alien abductions, funk and waffles, and people with names that sound like sexual organs.  Tee hee.

The Stapp Infection - A lot of people died over the holidays.  Always a fun segment when that happens.

Jerry Falwell uses the Weather Report to blatantly spread his agenda, Alaska Joe gives us his view from frosty north, and Buddy Nuggs gives us his view from his own cloudy mind.  All this and much more this week.

It's our last show for 2008, so we make it extra special, beginning with the intro song "The Ballad of Belsnickel", an epic Christmas song we guarantee isn't like the rest.  Tom and Gary of our band of the week happen to call in as soon as we start the show and subsequently are subjected to a Buffalo Bills song to end the curse of this season. 

Noah's Band of the Week - Zero Nerve Response, a grunge rock band from the Buffalo area.  The sound is original and the recordings self produced, a good blend for this band.  Tom and Gary join the show for an extended interview to bring us into the world of ZNR.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Part II of the epic saga known as Ithaca, NY.  Mr. History continues his tragic bloodbath of a story of the town's origins.  We sample a new batch of area bands from this great and crazy town.

The Stapp Infection - A holiday gift, the disease is light on us this week with GNR suing and message board posting.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Fair Haven, NY.  In this town in the ancient times some tragic events turned the region upside down, according to our expert Mr. History.  But some great bands survived and we sample them.  It's a unique mix from the shores of Lake Ontario.

The Stapp Infection - It's a gruesome group this week, with Gene Simmons’ comments on the industry, Michael Jackson struggling with his facial surgeries, and testimony regarding Boy George chaining a naked man to the wall and beating him mercilessly.

The Reign of Dudley having arrived, it made sense this week to feature The Reign of Kindo.  But there are always surprises.  And sometimes, there are voicemails involving some of the thousands of highly paid actors aboard the ship...er, Ark.  Chaos ensues.

Noah's Band of the Week - The Reign of Kindo, an indie and pop band from Buffalo, just back from a grueling tour of 55 dates all across the US of A.  Bassist and backup vocalist Jeff Jarvis joins the show to discuss the complexities of touring and life.

Crazy Band from Crazy Towns - Elma, NY is the home to so many great bands we had to stop by for a second week.  We are treated to some live Dave Constantino Band, along with Marti Monti and Done Deal.  All in all, Elma was a great stop...except that we did learn a frightening version of the town and village's past...from the authority Mr. History.

The Stapp Infection - Michael Jackson is off scamming sheiks out of millions of dollars.  We invite MJ aboard to explain himself.

So, there was this idea to do a split show with Josh Smith, host of "The Way Up" on thinktwiceradio.com, a while back.  Unfortunately we determined that it would be too difficult to transport our thousands of writers and technicians to a remote studio without more planning.  So to open the show, Josh Smith calls Noah and Thumb, apparently in denial about the refusal to do his show.  He wasn't too happy and ended up irate when he discovered we have some special new hot keys.

Noah's Band of the Week - Controlin Death.  This band has inspired, horrified and shocked us ever since we ventured to the crazy town Hilton. (Note: The Noah's Ark Program does not endorse or share any of the views expressed by this band.  In fact we probably should've listened to it all the way through before playing it.)

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - In Elma, NY, there are strange goblins of all sorts, from Elvis impersonators to polka to straight up rock.  We sample a few of them and vow to return for more next week.

The Stapp Infection - A tour of love emerges again, death is flushed, people are sued.  All in all it itches.  And it burns.  And the Creed reunion rumors are getting loud.

If Led Zeppelin goes on tour without Robert Plant, a chain of events will be unleashed that will inevitably result in the end of the world as we know it, aka, a Creed reunion.  Ladies and gents, if this comes to pass, all that is right in the world becomes wrong, black becomes white, Amy Winehouse goes to rehab, and then the Jackson 5 follow suit and go on tour.  We are very, very afraid.

Noah's Band of the Week - Mother Red, a rockin psychedelic band with marshy swampy guitars and thick and heavy vocals dominating there unique and varied sound.  Download their album at stampederecords.us, if you are so inclined.

Crazy Band from Crazy Towns - We travel this week to the lovely and palatial, although sinister, Hamburg, NY.  Is Hamburg named after a revolution of cannibals grinding their neighbors into delicious tasty bits?  Maybe.  Mr. History climbs aboard to explain, and we sample several bands from the crazy town.  Matt Gernold is also pranked via voicemail.

The Stapp Infection - Deaths and destruction, a sad but consistent week of the Infection.  On the slow weeks where bunches of people die, we usually check in with a Hall of Famer.  To our horror, the legendary MJ is in the headlines, another signal the end times are upon us, as mentioned above.

Also this week, Jerry Falwell gives us the weather, Sling Blade Carl is back with a B-movie review, Buddy Nuggs observes the multiverse, in addition to steaming mounds of chaos that we deliver each week on the All WNY Radio podcast network.

Noah's Band of the Week - Last Conservative, a rock/indie band based in Buffalo.  TJ Zindle, founding member and primary songwriter, joins the show while on a trip to the airport to tell us about the music.

Crazy Bands from Crazy Towns - Henrietta, NY, site of the infamous Pulteney Revolution and resulting bloodbath.  We check out The Hi-Risers, Sakes Alive!!, Heavy Hearted, Taran, and, of course, the ultra-heavy Axe of Death.

The Stapp Infection - It's another leg of the drooling parade of morons making headlines in the music industry.  Who comes out alive this week?

The boys from the Ark are at it again ...

The Ark welcomed The Gravity Thieves on board. Scott, Ryan, and Adam (and Christine) talked with Noah and Thumb for about an hour and a half.

Unfortunately ... Thumb forgot to record the show ... until their was about 8 minutes left. So what we have on the podcast here is Noah going crazy at the end of the show.

I gaurantee that what's here is worth listening to.
